Was that late night walk

I walked as countless 81 passed me by..
I had no idea how far i have walked.
I just didn't want to stop.
My legs weren't tired.
I just kept walking.
I walked past brightly lit buildings brimming with life.
I walked past dark stretches of roads cast with creepy shadows.
At times, i felt intimidated.
I crossed countless junctions and stopped at numerous traffic lights.
I listened as the cars sped by.
I felt the night breeze caressed my face.
I knew it was going to be a long walk home but i walked anyway.
