The train halted

The glass shattered

I'm picking up the pieces in my life ever so slowly.
Perhaps i would never be able to pick up every single piece completely but i will manage.
Very often, the person you love the most hurts you the most.
So why do people still put their heart and soul into loving one person.
That is something i can't understand.
Would you put your hand into the fire knowing that it'll hurt when it burns?
Sometimes i do know.
But i stubbornly dive head first into the fire anyway.

Having been away from home for exactly a month opened up my world.
Having met new people along the way infused so much variety into my life.
There are things that i came to realised along the way.
Like how the world is never fair.
Like how some people can treat you like shit and don't give a damn.
Likewise, some people can make you feel cherished in this big world when you feel insignificant.
The ways of life can be so complicating that i fail to comprehend.

But in this part of the world i saw for myself so clearly.
How he is everything i don't want in a guy.
How feelings can change so unpredictably.
How he impressed me with traits of him that i never did noticed before.
And how foolishly silly i have been.

I don't know if you do read my blog still.
But this is to you:
For ferrying me around on your bicycle without complaints though i know your legs hurt,
For lending me your pockets to hide my hands in when my digits were freezing,
For the many delicious lunches and dinners that you made for me with the simplest ingedients,
For the long boring rides that you took with me to and fro,
For showing me the most interesting places i have never been to,
For the shows you watched with me even though you have watched them before,
For the constant nagging on my train schedule and stuff that early morning,
For going through the train schedule boards with me to ensure that i don't get lost on the wrong train,
For the messages to check if i am safe,
And for being such a bully all the time,
Thank you.
