We ate, we drank, we watched

I have gotten excessively busy these days. All of a sudden, i've got tons of quotations to do. Before i am even done with the one on hand, i've got the next one thrown at me. When will it end. Been up to my neck with work yesterday but i suppose it makes time pass a little faster. Went to cut my hair after work and i feel like murdering my hairdresser. Got home a little past 730pm and had to rush through my dinner. I had till 8pm to finish eating and get changed before meeting desmond.

Des came by to pick me up at 830pm and we headed towards Central @ Clarke Quay. We decided to settle dinner (yes, that was my second dinner!) at Sun Moon Japanese Restaurant. The ambience was nice. We sat outside, somewhat near the riverside where we could sort of enjoy the night view. Awesome place to be at. And i tasted foie gras for the very first time. It tasted cheesy, not really my cup of tea. Ordered Chardonnay to go with our food, which i thought went well together with the wine. So we dined and whined till 11plus before we decided to get going.

Clarke Quay really is crowded on a Friday night. Lots of foreigners, lots of people dressed to the nines and all ready to party. I never knew Clarke Quay contained that much energy. I guess the array of new clubs brought in the crowd. We sourced around for a place to sit and drink -somewhere noisy enough for us to shout into each other's faces. There were such a selection of clubs and bars that we didn't know where to stop. There was Fashion Bar: some all white, diamante walkway high fashion bar. Looks really glitzy and i would have made it my selection. There was Lunar: some red hot smokin' artsy kind of club where you had to queue to get in. We settled for Yellow Jello: some bar with a cute name that plays mambo music on a friday night. Yx's gonna love it. We had two rounds of drinks while listening to the band play, watching people dance and just fooling around on our own. It was real entertaining to see the older people dance. The ang moh guy who kept doing the boogie and the indian man who danced like he was in a Bollywood movie. Des and i couldn't stop laughing. I guess we were pretty much contented to just sit in our corner drinking and gossipping.

The crowd only started filing in at 2am and i thought working people didn't have a life. It wasn't until 3am that we decided to head home. I was beat by then. 2 glasses of margaritas and 1 glass of wine was good enough to put me to sleep. I'm hoping to survive on 3 hours of sleep today.
