The gymnasts have definitely done a good job at the SEA games..
Somehow, i'm reminded of rhythmic gym days Everyone sees the glamour of the sport but they tend to forget about the pain behind it.. All the tears and sweat to build the basics, then the time and effort needed to practise the routine.. it really isn't easy at all. Though it was 3 years of hard work but it was definitely worth it.
Was looking through some rhythmic routines and it really brought back alot of sweet and painful (literally) memories. I remember Cedar was one of the 6 pioneer schools in rhythmic gymnastics and i guess i am proud to be part of the team back then.
The medals we won are those that i really treasure.. even up till now. I can't even bear to dump my leotards.. they're still sticking around in my cupboard somewhere.. (:
My respect those world class gymnasts. I can imagine the amount of hard work put in behind those glamourous routines. *clap* *clap*
The first video is my fav event.. The other video is the group event which is also my pet event.. though mine was 3 ropes 2 balls.. anyway,
Enjoy!
